Very often the small towns surprise you. Without great financial resources, they will erect a small monumnet and it becomes the centerpiece of the town. Bannister's World War I and II presentation is one of those kinds of spots. The town isn't located on any main thoroughfare or highway, in fact, you have to be looking for it to get there. Two or three times each year it is the gathering spot for the few citizens of this area who reach back to their roots and find that freedom is found in small towns too.
