A great place to ponder sacrifice

This small Catholic cemetery has served its parrish for several generations and it's nice to know those left behind have stopped to remember the men and women who served and carried the town with them in their hearts as they went aboard.

There are six service seals on the marker, but the Merchant Marine is not one of them . . . so what is the eagle in the seal without attribution to a service?
