Memorial sits in a stand of cedar trees
World War I Memorial Cedars
Downtown, NJ-147
Wildwood, Cape may County

"WILDWOOD'S TRIBUTE
To the glory of her sons
1917-1918"

This memorial stands amidst a grove of cedar trees, which themselves seem to be a memorial from the days of the Civil War. At the root of one tree is a small brass plaque that commemorates Clara Barton, famous nurse of that war. Several other trees appear also to have been commemorative plantings, but no plaques are evident now.
