Well done Greenville Veterans Affairs! This memorial proudly hails the four Medal of Honor winners of the county in a way that does not diminish the service of others. That's difficult for many memorials, but this one achieves it with grace. The service seals, all of them, are displayed under a bronze eagle at the front and the MOH winner at the back of the monument. Granite panels stand as the backdrop and hold the names of a thousand or more men and women from Greenville County that have served. Vistors immediately understand that serving in uniform is a well respected honor here.
