Our search engine database is keyed to just two things; the road and what is found along it. It costs nothing to have your business listed in our search file, just click here and send your information if you are not already listed. You must have a web site to be listed. Make sure you provide the proper URL and allow at least three days for the entry to appear in the database. I reserve the right to compose the text of the listing and the entry may be removed at any time if a rider complains about the quality of the service or the conditions of the premises. Find a sample of an existing listing by typing the route number of the neareast US highway into the search engine window and pressing enter, i.e. US52 or I90

Typical Block Ad - (Large) Notice that some of listings have RIDER RECOMMENDED as the very first of the lead in text. Roads And Riders encourages readers to send in their opinions of the businesses they patronize. When they see that lead they know they are visiting a biker friendly location. You CAN'T purchase those two words, they are only earned through your friendly and competent service.

Enhance The Free Listing With A Block Ad or Banner

In addition to the free listing, you may purchase two forms of paid advertising to further draw attention to your restaurant, campground, guest property, or roadside attraction.

1. A typical block ad always 150 pixel wide and varies from 175 to 335 pixels high. The one time graphics and set up fee will run from $50 for a small block up to $75 for a large block. The annual advertisers rate for the 150 wide block is just $75 per year. These blocks are placed ONLY on content pages of Roads And Riders and not on the search result pages, but purchase of a block ad WILL 'crank' the placement of your free listing above those of non-advertisers.

2. 600x150 Pixel banners are created for placement on the search result pages that are keyed to the search input. If one or more words of the search request matches one or more of your firm's keywords the banner will display as part of the result listings. Two banners are displayed on each result page. The one time graphics and set up fee is just $110 and INCLUDES a block ad placement for content pages. The annual advertiser fee is $150. The banners rotate randomly through the result listings and may be 'cranked' for additional charge.

Payment Terms

A deposit equal to the graphics and set up fee may be required on some accounts, but for most insertions no deposit is required. Full amount of the invoice is due 15 days after the advertisement first appears on the Roads And Riders site.
